Target is looking for a Lead Inventory Specialist to drive end-to-end planning and inventory execution in Bengaluru, ensuring optimal in-stock levels, inventory health, and business performance. This role integrates demand signals with inventory actions and partners cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end planning and inventory execution across assigned categories and divisions.
Ensure accuracy, timelines and compliance across all deliverables.
Monitor and manage key metrics such as Walk in Purchasibility, Availability, OOS and inventory health.
Leverage forecasts, promotions and seasonal trends to drive inventory decisions.
Lead medium to high complexity process ownership and captainships.
Build and enhance reporting tools, dashboards and templates.
Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Identify risks and opportunities and drive timely resolution through collaboration and escalation.
Partner with global and cross-functional teams to align on priorities.
Drive process improvements through automation, reporting enhancements, and best practices.
Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations/Retail/Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
Experience in Inventory Management, Demand Planning or retail operations.
Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, and automation using Excel and basic SQL.
