Develops software consistent with Cisco design thinking principles with a focus on simplification and UX. You will work on test engineering concepts, optical technologies, and software development.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to solutions for straightforward business problems regarding operations, products, services, or customers.
Collaborate on projects and work on small-to-medium features from technical design through completion.
Apply understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices.
Write functional clean code and unit tests with guidance under supervision.
Execute tests for scale, reliability, and velocity within own code.
Requirements
Bachelors with 2 years of related experience OR Masters with 0 years of related experience.
Excellent knowledge of test automation with Python and other automation test tools.
Expertise in Optical Technologies DWDM, ROADM, and Line systems is essential.
Good understanding of customer deployments, operations, and test strategy creation.
Experience in test engineering concepts including test planning, test case design, and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certification such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/JCNA/JCIE.
Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
MS/BS in EE/CS combined with 1 to 4 years proven experience.
