Senior HR Data Operations Analyst - Data Operations

As a Senior HR Data Operations Analyst at Target, you will build, maintain, and optimize reliable data pipelines across internal and external sources to support People Analytics and Insights in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines and workflows.

• Partner with People Analytics teams to translate business data requirements into effective data solutions.

• Build and optimize ETL processes across internal and external data sources.

• Troubleshoot data infrastructure, performance and data-quality issues, and implement sustainable fixes.

• Develop and maintain data models, schemas and technical documentation.

• Partner with Data Governance teams to ensure data security, privacy and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in HR data management, including at least 2 years working with Workday data.

• Strong understanding of data management concepts and data-quality best practices.

• Experience building data pipelines using APIs and external data providers within Hadoop and GCP.

• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python or Scala.

• Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka.
