As a Signal Integrity Engineer at Intel's Data Center Group, you will drive innovation in signal integrity solutions for high-speed platforms, boards, and packages. Your expertise will shape electrical specifications and industry standards for next-generation data center technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize signal integrity solutions for high-speed platforms, boards, and packages.
Perform detailed simulations of electrical structures using electromagnetic tools to guide physical implementation.
Design and characterize test structures leveraging high-speed equipment.
Define signal integrity rules, document characterization reports, and provide guidelines for end customers.
Collaborate with IP design teams and SoC integration teams to meet targeted requirements.
Develop electrical specifications and contribute to new industry standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 3+ years of experience in signal integrity design, OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, OR PhD with no prior professional experience.
Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, and ADS.
Expertise in analyzing signal integrity parameters like jitter, crosstalk, and attenuation.
Experience with high-speed measurement equipment including oscilloscopes and vector network analyzers.
Familiarity with PCB and package design tools like Cadence.
