Sanofi is looking for a Backup Expert with a strong understanding of cyber recovery to expand and strengthen the Digital Foundations team in India, focusing on server, virtualization, storage, and backup technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Exercise expertise for incident troubleshooting and problem solving with a strong focus on cyber security and cyber resiliency.
Collaborate with operations teams, business partners, and experts for backup infrastructure matters.
Implement and document solutions and coordinate Improvement Plans for robustness of global infrastructures.
Ensure backup and recovery solutions meet Sanofi standards and quality compliance.
Contribute as a developer in Agile Projects in a complex global environment.
Practice cloud expertise to manage modern cloud backup technologies.
Implement resilient backup solutions to enable Cyber Recovery strategy.
Automate the backup environment with ad-hoc technologies and end-to-end automation.
Manage obsolescence and technical debt to mitigate operational and security risk.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of direct, progressive hands-on backup management experience as a backup administrator in a large global environment.
Experience in Mass Restore and Recovery at large scale.
In-depth understanding of backup technologies, specifically Commvault, in large-scale dispersed environments.
Expertise in modern cloud backup technologies such as Azure Backup and AWS Backup.
Experience in automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Commvault API.
Knowledge of Agile frameworks.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
