Swiggy Instamart is building the convenience grocery segment in India, offering more than 30000 assortments to customers within 10-15 minutes. This role manages large warehouse operations and drives logistics efficiency to support rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Manage large, big box technologically enhanced high end warehouse operations.
Driving SOP and KPI for warehousing operations and benchmark them.
Work closely with all the functions to achieve overall business goals.
Warehouse efficiencies and SLA management.
Distribution and mid-mile logistics.
Planning and managing reverse logistics.
Plan and identify root causes of inventory deviation through cause-and-effect analysis.
Drive productivity and improve cost efficiency.
FEFO and FIFO Management.
Coordination with the Dark Store operations team for smooth material movement.
Warehouse stock audit and reduce shrink.
Engaging with various teams to streamline the processes and operations.
Creating annual calendar for peak seasons and planning operations accordingly to requirement.
Requirements
3 to 4 years of experience in establishing and managing multiple and large, big box technologically enhanced high-end warehouse and logistic operations.
Effective analytical, communications and Excel skills are a must.
Ability to work as a team player in a target driven work environment.
Ability to work with 3PL partners.
Experience managing a large team with city heads and warehouse heads reporting to the candidate.
Ability to think consumer first and go deep into consumer needs.
Experience managing warehousing planning, distribution and logistic operations of leading organizations.
Ability to forecast and determine productivity requirements.
Drive process improvements to keep pace with growth and reduce shrink.
Ability to develop systems, processes, and infrastructure related to warehouse and logistic.
Implemented lean process and innovative technology solutions to improve automation and productivity.
Ability to analyze business scenarios and recommend prompt actions.
Preferred Qualifications
Having F&V experience will be an added advantage.
