Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer) to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across the front end, back end, and cloud infrastructure. You will own features end-to-end and collaborate effectively within an Agile team to deliver innovative medicines.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain full stack web applications spanning front-end, back-end, and cloud environments.
Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs and microservices to support business applications and AI-driven workflows.
Enhance, troubleshoot, and support existing production applications ensuring reliability and scalability.
Deploy and manage applications on AWS using containerized and serverless architectures.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers within an Agile development process.
Participate in code reviews and apply static code analysis and security scanning tools.
Translate requirements into user stories, epics, and sprint-ready tasks using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Propose solution options and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
4–7 years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full stack project delivery.
Strong hands-on experience building production applications with ReactJS and TypeScript.
Solid experience with Python and Node.js for building server-side applications and services.
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and Docker containerization.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
Hands-on experience with core AWS services and deployment patterns.
Proficient with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with React Native for mobile development and Vue.js.
Exposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts.
Experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph.
