Maersk is seeking a Fleet Associate Buyer to handle the entire demand-to-delivery process for allocated Maersk Line vessels while ensuring the 4R Principle. You will join a global leader in integrated logistics to help shape the future of global trade.
Key Responsibilities
Have an end-to-end responsibility, accountability and handling entire demand to delivery process for allocated set of Maersk Line vessels and ensure the 4R Principle.
Run the RFQ process with non-contracted suppliers for optimal deliveries.
Follow Procure to Pay process for timely payments to all vendors and handle invoices with discrepancies.
Support stakeholders with technical organizations through daily interactions and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
Operate IT platforms and systems with good knowledge to gain maximum output of offered tools and ensure process compliance.
Support Senior Buyers in driving the operational performance of the team.
Support with implementing automation as part of the digital agenda.
Requirements
Graduate of any discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in procurement in the Shipping and Logistics industry.
Good communication and presentation skills.
