Huron is seeking a Resource Management Shared Services Analyst to support the resource management function by ensuring data accuracy, assisting with pre-staffing processes, and providing analytical and reporting support.
Key Responsibilities
Review new and open project opportunities in Salesforce daily to prepare for staffing.
Liaise with Project Support teams and Scope Owners to clarify and update opportunity details in Salesforce.
Load and maintain resource plans and forecasts in Workday based on confirmed project details.
Monitor resource availability, including PTO, holidays, and other absences, ensuring they are reflected in resource forecasts.
Track resource utilization metrics and generate utilization reports to identify under-utilization or over-utilization.
Monitor shadow hours and investment hours recorded on projects across teams, preparing summaries and following up on exceptions.
Apply a practical working knowledge of AI tools to support day-to-day resource management activities and workflow improvements.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate recurring reports and operational tasks.
Requirements
1-2 years of work experience in business operations, resource management, finance, reporting and analytics, or a similar domain.
Bachelor's degree in a field related to the position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, with comfort working with spreadsheets, data analysis, and basic reporting.
Fair working knowledge of AI tools and their practical application in a business environment.
Awareness of responsible AI use, data privacy, information security, and confidentiality.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with close attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in learning and applying automation or low-code tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Automate, or Power BI.
Familiarity with enterprise resource management or professional services automation tools, with Workday and Salesforce experience highly desirable.
