The Applications Support Intermediate Analyst provides technical and business support for users of Citi applications, acting as a liaison between users, internal technology groups, and vendors. This role resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience.
Key Responsibilities
Field issues and queries from stakeholders, provide short-term resolutions, and work with relevant technology partners for long term remediation.
Act as a liaison between users or traders, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors.
Participate in disaster recovery testing and application releases from development through production deployment.
Perform post-release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates.
Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
Cooperate with development colleagues to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements.
Take active involvement in and ownership of Support Project items covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives.
Requirements
5 to 8 years of experience in applications support or related technical roles.
Strong technical expertise in Linux, Oracle/SQL, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), WebLogic, ECS, and CI/CD tool chains.
Knowledge of SaaS, AppD GCO, and OTel is good to have.
Exposure to applications in Java and Python.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
