Business Analyst Assistant Manager

State Street is looking for a strong engineer to join the Fund Accounting Data Services (FADS) team. The role focuses on business data analysis with strong communication skills and knowledge of finance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in data modeling and design decision making

• Document and update requirements, ensuring they completely define the project

• Support business/functional requirement review, approval, and sign-off sessions

• Diagnose, debug, and correct problems in live infrastructure supporting production clients

• Investigate feature requests, perform detailed analysis, and create specifications

• Leverage frameworks, tools and automation to ensure quality software deliveries

Requirements

• SQL development experience, any Python is plus

• Strong Data modeling and design experience

• Good working knowledge of financial systems and market reference data

• Familiar with GenAI and AI related tools

• Ability to communicate effectively in English both writing and speaking
