MSD is looking for a Specialist in SAP BW HANA Analytics to design and develop analytical applications leveraging data modeling, data architecture, ETL, and end-user reporting. This role partners with stakeholders across Global Finance, Architecture, and Regional IT to advance analytics-driven transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop SAP BW artifacts including ADSO, Open ODS View, CompositeProvider, Transformations, and BEx Queries.
Work on data extraction from SAP source systems like ECC and S/4HANA.
Build SAP HANA models using graphical and SQL-based calculation views.
Contribute to end-to-end data modeling, performance enhancements, and solution maintenance.
Ensure data consistency, integrity, and performance optimization.
Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
Develop and enable reporting solutions in SAP Analysis for Office and Power BI ensuring seamless integration.
Requirements
3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW, BI, BO, and SAP Native HANA Modeling.
Strong expertise in SAP BW data modeling including InfoObjects, DSOs, and BEx Queries.
In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA technologies including Calculation Views and stored procedures.
Hands-on experience with SAP SLT and data extraction mechanisms like ODP.
Functional understanding of FP&A, Manufacturing, Sales, and Capex processes.
Experience working in an Agile development environment and using Jira.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Power BI Reporting.
Familiarity with compliance, security, and best practices in regulated industries like healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
