Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to help drive data-informed decision-making and support strategic deployment objectives across the enterprise. You will leverage data to build out strategy deployments, strengthen risk management practices, and improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business and analytical requirements into scalable SAS-based solutions that support operational, reporting, and risk management objectives.
Design, develop, enhance, and optimize SAS programs, workflows, and processes to improve performance, efficiency, and data quality.
Monitor and support daily, weekly, and monthly production processes, ensuring the reliable execution of critical analytical and reporting activities.
Investigate and resolve production incidents, data discrepancies, and performance issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
Partner with business and technology teams to support production releases, change management activities, and post-implementation validation efforts.
Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and process exceptions while meeting established service level expectations.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and control checks to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data used for business decision-making.
Analyse data and operational results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements by maintaining appropriate documentation, evidence, and adherence to established controls.
Participate in peer reviews, code reviews, testing activities, and implementation approvals to promote high-quality and compliant analytical solutions.
Requirements
4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Experience in Analytics, Data Management, or a related field
Strong hands-on expertise in SAS and SQL with proven experience developing and supporting production processes
Solid understanding of risk, control, governance, and compliance frameworks within a production environment
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
