As a Secondary Design Engineer at Hitachi, Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the development and refinement of electrical systems, focusing on the secondary circuit design for power infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop secondary electrical circuits for various power systems, including substations, transmission lines, and industrial facilities.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials using CAD software.
Perform calculations and simulations for protection coordination, relay settings, and control logic.
Collaborate with primary design engineers and project managers to integrate secondary systems with overall project requirements.
Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as IEC, ANSI, and IEEE.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
Proven experience of 3-5 years in secondary circuit design for power systems
Strong understanding of protection relays, control systems, and SCADA integration
Proficiency in CAD software such as E3, EPLAN, and AutoCAD Electrical
Familiarity with relevant international and national electrical standards and codes
