GE Vernova is seeking a GSI Finance - Billing Process Owner to act as a strategic advisor and change agent responsible for driving comprehensive automation and transformation of Billing system and process.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a holistic Billing strategy aligned with business objectives.
Assess current finance operations, identify pain points, and define target operating models.
Develop business cases and ROI analysis for automation initiatives.
Document As-Is and To-Be billing process maps, focus on process simplification and data accuracy in billing.
Redesign, automate and optimize invoicing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement industry best practices and leverage automation technologies such as RPA and AI to streamline operations.
Implement Transactional Service Team / Centres of Excellence to drive operational excellence.
Lead the integration of finance systems like ERP and BI with automation tools.
Drive adoption of emerging technologies to enhance Billing process capabilities while ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
Develop self-service reporting capabilities to empower business users, alongside leading comprehensive change management plans and mentoring a high-performing finance transformation team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on transformation and consulting
Proven track record of leading complex finance transformation projects
Deep understanding of finance functions, processes, and technologies
Training and working experience of implementing contemporary technology / advancements to finance processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Excellent project management and organizational abilities
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree
Understanding of SAP -PS/SD modules
Working experience in a GCC organisation or similar IT set-up
