Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Associate Manager for Quality to participate in quality assurance, supplier audits, and process audits ensuring compliance with quality requirements. You will lead, mentor, and coach inspectors and maintain the Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in New Product Development, First Article Inspection, product inspections, supplier audits, and process audits.
Lead, mentor, and coach inspectors and designated inspection personnel in interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
Investigate customer complaints and field failures using structured root cause analysis.
Apply PFMEA, Control Plans, and Gauge R&R studies to identify process risks and strengthen process controls.
Requirements
Diploma Engineering or Engineering Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
4 to 6 years of experience in an electrical assemblies or manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years leading a team of quality professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with FAA regulations and aerospace manufacturing standards.
