GE Aerospace is seeking a Junior Engineer for Loco Quality at the Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility in Pune. You will plan, conduct, and monitor product quality including incoming, in-process, and final inspection of parts to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting tests, and communicating adjustments.
Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests.
Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs.
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
Collect and compile statistical quality data and document internal audits.
Manage MRB and RTV, ensure on-time disposition, and maintain supplier scorecards.
Participate in High Performance Team discussions and provide insights on quality and root cause analysis.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering from a reputed college or university.
2 to 5 years of experience in the Quality Function, mainly for inspection of welded parts.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience in documenting internal audits and implementing corrective actions.
