TransUnion is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications within the Data Acquisition team.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.
Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and QA teams to understand requirements.
Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps initiatives.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team.
Requirements
7 to 10 years of experience in Java application development.
Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17/21, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate / JPA.
Experience with Microservices Architecture and API-driven development.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience working in banking, financial services, insurance, or large-scale enterprise environments.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
