Dover is seeking a Senior Design Engineer II to be responsible for the design of custom refrigeration rack systems using Solidworks.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the design of custom refrigeration rack systems involving rack structure, component assembly, piping, control panel, Sheetmetal and detailed drawings.
Generate customer Submittals and Manufacturing drawings of refrigeration system products as per ANSI, ASTM standards.
Apply DFM/DFA principles to enhance manufacturability and cost efficiency.
Conduct DFMEA and DVPR to arrive a validation plan and ensure design meets specifications.
Resolve product or manufacturing problems on major product lines individually or as part of a group.
Requirements
7 - 10 Years of experience
Expertise in sheet metal and weldment design, strong structural and Refrigeration system design knowledge
Design processes knowledge - DFMEA, DFM/DFA, FEA, GD&T, and Tolerance stack up
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Ability to effectively problem-solve using tools and techniques like A3, root cause analysis
