Key Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, training, and personnel development.

• Manage engineering operational accounts for buildings and assist in developing operating and capital budgets.

• Recommend and implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an ongoing basis.

• Develop and maintain effective asset-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals and enforce compliance.

• Oversee all building systems including fire, life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues.

• Administer all equipment and construction warranties with respect to the defect liability period.

• Respond quickly to emergency situations such as fire, evacuation, and equipment failure.
