Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build Observability capabilities with technology-led innovation at an enterprise scale to transform Telemetry, Monitoring, and Observability. You will design, develop, and deploy complex technology initiatives, influencing teams and driving new AI-powered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute towards complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions.
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domains.
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues.
Provide strategic guidance, direction, and expertise to leadership in implementing innovative, high-impact business solutions.
Champion the adoption of AI and agentic systems within observability.
Requirements
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education.
Experience with Cloud, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, Time Series Metrics, Capacity, Machine Learning, or Synthetics monitoring tools experience.
Experience with Python, JavaScript, Java Spring Boot, ReactJS, Spring Framework, UML, NoSQL and SQL Databases, Kafka pub/sub model, ETL, Microservices Development, Kubernetes.
3+ years of experience in developing AI-powered products end-to-end Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and optimization.
Experience in building and deploying microservices and cross-channel restful Application Programming Interface (API).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Experience in Data analysis, Data Import and Data Feeds.
Deep technical understanding of core concepts, memory management, multi-threading, REST based services, React and Spring/Spring Boot.
