Citi is seeking a highly skilled Angular Developer with strong experience in building scalable, responsive, and high-performing web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Angular development and a solid understanding of Microservices architecture and backend integration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Angular Development
Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Angular (v12+).
Build reusable UI components, services, and modules following best practices.
Develop responsive and cross-browser compatible user interfaces.
Implement state management using RxJS, NgRx, or similar frameworks.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and accessibility.
Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Write unit tests and ensure high test coverage using Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
2. Microservices Development
Collaborate with backend teams to design and integrate Microservices-based APIs.
Develop and consume RESTful services using Java/Spring Boot or Node.js technologies.
Support API design, documentation, versioning, and security implementations.
Troubleshoot and resolve application integration and performance issues.
Understand containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of hands-on experience in Angular development.
Strong proficiency in Angular 12+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, and RxJS.
Experience with source control tools such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microservices Architecture.
Knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, Node.js, or .NET Core.
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
