Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Associate to support key investment operations activities that help drive operational excellence and deliver a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of operational tasks for complex institutional trades or process extensive knowledge of systems.
Provide ideas for improving or implementing processes.
Perform moderately complex duties such as processing, researching inquiries, and reconciling transactions.
Review time-sensitive documents.
Provide training or work direction to less experienced staff.
Support audit requirements within the process and address compliance and corporate governance issues.
Lead or participate in projects.
Identify and drive process re-engineering or transformation opportunities.
Requirements
6+ months of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Bachelor's degree in finance preferred.
5+ years of experience in the securities operations background preferably.
Understanding of Pre Matching, Trade Allocations, and Affirmations/Confirmations in the US Domestic Market.
Sound knowledge of Pre-Settlements, Settlements, and trade life cycle.
