TransUnion is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to improve the quality, accuracy, and delivery of core products within the Specialized Risk Group. This hybrid role involves building complex algorithms, handling data ingestion, and collaborating with core technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data ingestion, data analysis, data integration, and data design tasks
Work with big data platforms such as Hadoop, MongoDB, and Cassandra
Utilize Python, PySpark, or related languages for data processing
Write scripts utilizing Linux and Bash scripting
Coordinate work responsibilities with other core technology teams
Requirements
0-1 years of work experience with data ingestion, analysis, integration, and design
Experience with big data platforms like Hadoop, MongoDB, or Cassandra
Experience utilizing Python, PySpark, or similar tools
Experience with Linux and Bash scripting
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, or related discipline
