JLL is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to lead planning, design coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial building projects in Bengaluru. You will serve as the technical authority for MEP systems integration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead MEP design coordination from concept through construction completion for commercial building projects.
Develop comprehensive project schedules, critical path analyses, and milestone tracking for MEP work packages.
Manage project budgets including cost estimation, value engineering proposals, and expenditure tracking.
Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality and compliance with design specifications.
Review and coordinate MEP design documents ensuring integration between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Facilitate BIM coordination sessions to identify and resolve conflicts between systems.
Evaluate mechanical system selections including HVAC equipment and controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
10-12 years of progressive experience in MEP project management within commercial building construction.
Demonstrated track record of delivering MEP systems for projects valued at $10M+.
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM 360.
Proficiency with Navisworks or similar clash detection software.
Preferred Qualifications
LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
ASHRAE, NFPA, or IEEE membership.
Experience with commissioning processes and LEED certification projects.
