TransUnion is looking for a Lead Developer for React to drive frontend architecture and design decisions focusing on scalability, performance, and security. This hybrid role involves leading technical mentorship and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver enterprise web applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable web applications using React.js
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code review guidance
Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, and Backend Engineers to translate requirements
Lead Agile and Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Optimize application performance and implement responsive cross-browser compatible solutions
Support cloud-native deployments within AWS and GCP environments
Requirements
10+ years of experience in frontend development including 2+ years in a technical leadership or Lead Developer role
Expert-level proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Strong experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API
Experience integrating REST APIs and working with modern frontend architectures
Working knowledge of AWS and GCP
Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
