As a Lead Software Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific India Engineering Center, you will join a diverse team to participate in the specification, design, testing, maintenance, and implementation of software for analytical and bioproduction instruments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex software modules across multiple concurrent projects.
Drive technical design, implementation, testing, code quality, and production support.
Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, identify risks, and deliver scalable solutions.
Communicate effectively through clear documentation and stakeholder collaboration.
Requirements
Bachelors in Engineering or Masters in Computer Science with 7+ years of relevant experience.
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in developing Java/JEE web applications based on micro-services architecture using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD frameworks like Jenkins.
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with databases such as Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL DB.
Frontend development hands-on experience with Javascript, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, and Angular JS.
Experience with cloud computing services like AWS.
