BIM Electrical Engineer

Johnson Controls is seeking a BIM Electrical Engineer to build sustainable buildings through smart engineering solutions. You will work on Revit BIM modeling and coordinate electrical and ELV services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Revit BIM modeling of engineering services including Electrical and ELV as per tender markups

• Check clashes within and between services using Navisworks Manage software

• Coordinate with ASMEP services with the program schedule

• Prepare Cable tray routing and Conduit routing with setting out details

• Prepare schedules and construction documents directly from Revit

• Work in ACC and Forma as per BIM standards

• Manage medium-sized projects individually and collaborate with the team on large projects

• Meet and coordinate with global stakeholders on a daily basis

Requirements

• Minimum 6-8 years Revit experience especially in Electrical and ELV modelling

• Detailed understanding of Revit process including setting up and maintaining projects, files, families, and work sets

• Fire Alarm Design Knowledge, preferably NICET or BS5839 certified Engineer

• Knowledge of clash detection and coordination using Navisworks

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Experience in MEP Construction Field

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Revit BIM Professional
