Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an Engineer-III, DevOps to build and evolve secure, scalable, and highly available engineering platforms. You will play a key role in enabling teams to deliver software faster and more reliably while contributing to cloud modernization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, deploy, and support secure applications and infrastructure on AWS.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Build reusable Terraform modules and standardized AWS infrastructure patterns.
Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
Integrate security controls throughout CI/CD pipelines following DevSecOps practices.
Implement SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, container scanning, IaC scanning, and vulnerability management.
Develop and deploy Generative AI applications using Amazon Bedrock.
Requirements
8+ years of AWS, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevSecOps experience.
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and multiple AWS services.
Advanced experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with DevSecOps and cloud security.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock Agents.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS professional-level certification.
Kubernetes/EKS experience.
Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD platforms.
