Salesforce is looking for a Lead Member of Technical Staff to join the Revenue Analytics team and drive the data platforms, intelligent products, and AI-enabled automation that power enterprise decision-making. In this hands-on technical leadership role, you will build resilient pipelines, bridge data platforms with full-stack systems, and ensure data products seamlessly plug into downstream applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, execution, and optimization of end-to-end data pipelines for batch and event-driven workloads using Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
Define patterns for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and storage while establishing standards for data contracts and semantic consistency.
Design and maintain lightweight API integration components, Node.js services, and middleware that expose data platform capabilities to full-stack applications.
Implement enterprise-controlled agentic capabilities and AI-enabled workflows, integrating autonomous agents and Model Context Protocol servers.
Establish testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, and operational observability across both data pipelines and app integration services.
Conduct code and design reviews while mentoring Senior and Associate Engineers on clean code and automated testing standards.
Requirements
Typically 10 to 14+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
Proven track record of leading complex data projects from requirements through architecture, deployment, and ongoing operation.
Ability to serve as the bridge between core data platform engineering and web application developer teams.
Strong ability to translate technical implementation choices into business outcomes and communicate effectively across engineering teams.
