At Barclays, you will join as a GTSM - Site Reliability Engineer to manage the IT Services department, set strategic direction, and manage IT service risk across the organisation. You will support bank operations and represent technology service performance with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strategic direction for IT Services, including implementation of up-to-date methodologies and processes.
Manage the IT Services department, overseeing colleagues, performance, departmental goals, and overall efficiency.
Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain the quality of external third-party services.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT Services, ensuring adherence to group SLAs and controls in incident, problem, and change.
Manage IT Services risk by identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Monitor financial performance of the IT Services department, including revenue, profitability, and cost control.
Monitor and maintain the bank’s critical technology infrastructure and resolve complex technical issues.
