State Street is seeking a hands-on AWS Cloud Developer with strong experience in Terraform to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure in a highly governed enterprise environment. This role focuses on infrastructure provisioning, AWS networking, and security best practices with an emphasis on automation and scalable architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform
Provision and manage core AWS services, including S3, CloudTrail, and IAM
Build and manage AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing, and Transit Gateway
Configure and manage Route 53, AWS Cloud Map, and IPAM pools and allocations
Implement security and compliance controls such as AWS Config, Security Hub, and Control Tower integrations
Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain state management best practices
Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues across multi-account environments
Ensure alignment with security, governance, and least-privilege principles
Requirements
Total experience required is 8+ years
2 to 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience
Strong experience with Terraform writing reusable modules and managing state
Deep understanding of AWS Networking including VPC design, routing, and segmentation
Strong knowledge of AWS Security including IAM roles, policies, and SCPs
Experience with multi-account AWS environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated environments like banking and enterprise
Familiarity with AWS Control Tower governance models and CloudWAN architecture
Experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional certification
HashiCorp Terraform Associate Certification
