At JLL, the Fire Officer ensures specific roles and responsibilities are met regarding fire safety in commercial buildings. This role ensures compliance with fire safety regulations, prepares for potential emergencies, and responds effectively when incidents occur by taking charge of entire fire system assets.
1. Prevention
Conduct fire risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and maintain fire protection systems and equipment.
2. Preparation
Develop and implement emergency evacuation plans.
Conduct regular fire drills, training sessions, and educate occupants on fire safety practices.
3. Response
Act promptly in the event of a fire, coordinate evacuation, and ensure occupant safety.
Assist fire department personnel during emergency operations and act as the first line of response.
4. Recovery
Investigate fire incidents, implement corrective actions, and update fire safety plans based on learnings.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or any equivalent.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in Real Estate, Hotel, or Construction Industry.
