Amgen is seeking a highly motivated Senior Scrum Master to join the Customer & Campaign Readiness Product Team in Hyderabad. This role serves as an Agile leader, coach, and facilitator responsible for enabling high-performing teams and driving successful delivery of business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, and Backlog Refinement.
Coach teams on Agile and SAFe principles and behaviors to improve maturity and effectiveness.
Support SAFe events including PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums.
Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness and successful execution.
Remove impediments and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives and Agile metrics.
Promote transparency and data-driven decision making using Agile metrics like velocity and throughput.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 8 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Prior experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience guiding teams through Agile events and ensuring adherence to SAFe practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience serving as a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment.
Experience supporting Marketing Operations or Commercial Operations teams.
Experience working with Adobe Workfront or comparable enterprise work management platforms.
Certified SAFe Scrum Master or Certified SAFe RTE.
