Director of Research and Development - Antibodies

As Director of Research and Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will guide teams developing advanced solutions that enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish strategic direction for R&D initiatives while cultivating a culture of scientific excellence and collaboration.

• Oversee product development from concept through commercialization.

• Support and develop teams of scientists, engineers, and technical experts.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in R&D in regulated industries, with 5+ years in leadership roles.

• Preferred fields of study include Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Engineering.

• Deep expertise in relevant technical domains such as diagnostics, biologics, and instrumentation.

• Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements including FDA, ISO, and GMP.

• Experience managing complex projects, budgets, and resources.
