Flex is looking to add a Senior Analyst - Planning in Pune, India, to quickly and accurately process planning orders in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working with the Customer Focus Team to provide materials support to production planned orders.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team ensuring materials planning supports weekly production.
Provide timely materials status through shortage reports and submission of excess and obsolete inventory.
Manage work orders, inventory management, and achieve operating goals.
Communicate with NPI customers effectively to protect business interests.
Work on customer forecasts and shipments using the waterfall method.
Analyze availability of materials and capacity based on customer demand to come up with loading schedules.
Run weekly system reports to determine material shortages and work on their closure.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience in Planning or Supply Chain Purchasing.
Knowledge of computer software applications including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as BAAN, SAP, or Oracle.
Knowledge of Engineering BOMs, product structure, EOL, and ECO Management.
Process knowledge of complete planning cycle including MPS, MRP, Demand Planning, and Production planning.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of planning tool like Kinaxis.
