Associate Financial Controller

Maersk is looking for an Associate Financial Controller to manage accounting and reporting processes within the General Ledger Controlling organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and accruals in SAP, OneStream, and related tools.

• Ensure accurate GL, cost centre, and internal order accounting; manage fixed assets, depreciation, and tax requirements.

• Support statutory audits, respond to auditor queries, and maintain compliance with RICC control framework.

• Liaise with finance teams, managers, and stakeholders to provide timely updates and explanations.

• Participate in ATR automation initiatives and process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Strong financial background with 3 to 7 years of experience in accounting, book closing, and reporting.

• Proficiency in SAP and cost centre or internal order setup.

• Analytical, structured, and proactive working style.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and manage high workloads.
