Flex is looking to add a Senior Analyst - Procurement based in Coimbatore to maintain supplier relations and place orders for raw materials according to production requirements. The role ensures all active components are available on time and for the agreed price.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain relations with suppliers, place orders for raw materials, and handle order confirmations.
Check and modify purchase orders according to production plan changes using shortage and open purchase order lists.
Track shipments, conduct weekly stock checks, and minimize obsolescence risks.
Coordinate transportation with freight forwarders and warehouses, and handle claim settlements.
Review requisitions and MRP output, and confer with vendors on price and availability.
Manage suppliers to price, delivery, and quality expectations while approving invoices for payment.
Monitor material movement through the production cycle and conduct quarterly supplier reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
0 - 2 years of related experience.
Working usage of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ERP software.
Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry.
