As a Quality Engineer Software at Philips, you ensure that appropriate software quality plans are made and executed across all stages of the software lifecycle, supporting the healthcare technology mission.
Key Responsibilities
Ensures that appropriate SW Quality plans are made that include all stages of the software life cycle and supports SW Quality Plan design.
Validates key design inputs like usability, reliability, performance, supportability, manufacturability, safety, security, privacy, and serviceability.
Provides effective oversight of the execution of the SW Quality Plan and any Risk Management activities during the software lifecycle.
Leads quality-related problem solving for software.
Uses post-market analytics and statistics to report on software performance in the field and initiate field actions when required.
Acts as a single point of contact to ensure that software design quality-related requirements are completed and meet SW Quality standards for every PRP milestone.
Makes a substantial contribution to ways of combining Agile with medical software development.
Requirements
5-7 years of work experience in a related field.
Experience in IEC 62304 and software quality experience.
Working knowledge of appropriate global medical device regulations, standards, and consumer product regulations such as 21 CFR Parts 803, 806 and 820.
Preferred Qualifications
AI/ML skills added advantage.
