Experian is looking for an accomplished and experienced Java Engineering Manager to lead the UKBI engineering team in designing scalable solutions and supporting professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers, supporting professional growth and providing technical guidance.
Collaborate with partners to understand data and our requirements, delivering technical solutions.
Design scalable software solutions using Java, microservices, Docker, EKS, Solr/OpenSearch, and AWS technologies.
Ensure high-quality software delivery through best practices in coding, testing, deployment, unit testing, and test automation.
Create project success by contributing hands-on during sprints, resolving complex technical issues, managing risks and impediments, and encouraging innovation through latest technologies.
Improve AI adoption to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10 Years of total experience and 5+ years of experience in java, microservices, python, SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
At least 4 years of experience managing people.
Experience in search technologies such as Solr or Open Search.
Expertise of AWS Services like EC2, EKS and Lambda.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Ability to collaborate with partners at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in cloud platforms.
Experience building AI-enabled solutions.
