Cisco seeks a Software Engineer to develop software consistent with design thinking principles, focusing on simplification and User Experience. You will partner with design and product management teams to create secure, privacy-focused solutions for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to solutions for straightforward business problems regarding operations, products, services, or customers.
Analyze information and collaborate effectively within the team on small-to-medium features.
Apply understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices.
Participate in delivering technical design features and write functional clean code and unit tests.
Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting under supervision.
Assist in code reviews, execute tests for scale and reliability, and apply secure coding principles.
Monitor and triage incident reports, participate in postmortems, and handle on-call duties.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience OR Master’s degree with 0 years of related experience.
Basic knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts within a technical discipline with exposure to current technologies.
