Investment Operations Specialist - SMA Solutions

BlackRock is seeking an Investment Operations Specialist for Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) Solutions. The role supports middle-office activities through reconciliation, exception management, and operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations, investigating and resolving breaks.

• Monitor positions, cash, transactions, tax lots, pricing, and corporate actions.

• Partner with portfolio management and custodians to resolve exceptions.

• Execute operational controls and maintain audit-ready evidence.

• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate manual activities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in investment operations, middle-office operations, fund accounting, or related financial-services function.

• Working knowledge of the trade lifecycle.

• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Advanced Excel skills.
