Software Dev Engineer I

Join Swiggy as an SDE I where you will play an integral role in owning the end-to-end design and architecture of complex systems. You will partner with product and business teams to translate specifications into high-level designs for mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features and mobile applications using React Native.

• Build reusable code and libraries to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across all Android devices.

• Enable best practices to help the team achieve technical tasks and improve product technology.

• Translate product features into high-level and low-level designs.

• Perform Unit Testing using TDD methodologies to ensure code reliability.

Requirements

• B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college.

• 1-3 years of experience in a product development company (strong internship experience considered).

• Proficient understanding of React Native and React Fundamentals.

• Working knowledge of Android Native development.

• Experience with Typescript and ES6+.

• Experience with Version Control Systems like Git.

• Knowledge of TDD using libraries like Jest.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with supplementary libraries like Redux, Redux Saga, Zustand, or Lerna.
