DSA Is Important, But Building Projects Teaches You How Software Works!
As a computer science student preparing for SDE roles, I've learned that solving coding problems and building real-world projects develop different skills.
Here are 4 things I'm focusing on:
Practice DSA: Improve logical thinking and problem-solving.
Build projects: Turn theoretical knowledge into practical solutions.
Understand your code: Be ready to explain why you chose a particular approach.
Learn from feedback: Code reviews and collaboration help you become a better developer.
One important lesson: don't just focus on the number of problems solved. Focus on what you've learned from each one.
The goal is to become a developer who can solve problems, write clean code, and build useful products.
Fellow students, what's your current priority: DSA, development, or interview preparation?
