A day in the life of a Technical Recruiter:

Candidate: “I know Java, Python, React, AWS, AI, and basically everything.”

Interviewer: “Great! Can you explain one project you built?”

Candidate: “Actually, that project was a team effort…”

Recruiter: “Are you available tomorrow for an interview?”

Candidate: “Yes, absolutely!”

Recruiter the next day: “Hi! Just confirming your interview.”

Candidate: Last seen yesterday.

And of course, the classic:

Recruiter: “What are your salary expectations?”

Candidate: “I'm open to discussion.”

Recruiter: “What's your current offer?”

Candidate: “That's confidential.”

Jokes aside, recruitment is about much more than matching resumes with job descriptions. It takes patience, communication, coordination, and finding the right fit for both the candidate and the company.
