Debugging a mobile layout today reminded me how different a website feels on a real phone compared to Chrome DevTools.

Everything looked perfect at desktop width. Then I opened it on an actual mid-range Android device and found a horizontal scroll, a slow image load and a button that was way too close to the edge.

Responsive testing isn't just about making the viewport smaller.
