Me: “The UI is finally perfect!”
Emulator: Works perfectly.
My phone: Works perfectly.
QA's phone: Crashes instantly.
Me: “Which Android version?”
QA: “Yes.”
Then begins the investigation:
Is it a lifecycle issue?
Is Compose recomposing too much?
Is the API returning something unexpected?
Is it a device-specific bug?
Three hours later…
The issue was one missing null check.
