๐ Life as an Engineer at a Startup: Learning by Building!
Working as a Software Engineer at a startup has taught me one important lesson: engineering is not just about writing code โ it's about understanding problems and finding practical solutions.
From working with APIs and frontend development to handling infrastructure and support tickets, every day brings a new challenge and an opportunity to learn something different. ๐ป
Here are three things I'm learning along the way:
๐น Think beyond the code: Understand the problem before jumping into implementation.
๐น Move fast, learn faster: Not every solution will be perfect on the first try. Feedback and iteration matter.
๐น Take ownership: Sometimes the best learning happens when you step outside your comfort zone and solve something unfamiliar.
Startup life can be chaotic, but that's what makes it exciting. Every bug fixed, feature shipped, and problem solved adds to the experience.
I'm looking forward to building better systems, improving my engineering skills, and sharing more lessons from the journey. ๐
Fellow engineers: What's one lesson working in a startup has taught you that you couldn't learn from a textbook?
